We learn something new in every game, or as a friend of mine used to say, "We RE-learn something old." Here I'll discuss
our games and try to recap any lessons taught by the best teacher: experience. I'll also acknowledge especially good efforts.
Players Please!!!!!
Respect your host and their equipment: Billiards rooms help sponser are league and provide use of their facilities
and equipment. Wheather at home or away, you represent your host club. Please note, any player found taking equipment (Cue
Balls, Cue Stick) that do not belong to them from a host location will be band from playing in the OL League and forfiet
any and all prizes or award due to them.
SPORTSMANSHIP IN LEAGUE PLAY
Sportsmanship is simply treating your teammates and opponents with courtesy and respect. While everyone wants to win, the
purpose of league play is to have fun playing the great sport of billiards in the company of friends.
I once heard it said, "First you need to KNOW THE RULES. Then, you need to PLAY BY THE RULES. Then you need to WIN BY THE
RULES. And ONLY THEN can you CHANGE THE RULES."
